Cathy is an Artist and Art Tutor who has previously been the Head of Art at CATS International College, an Art Lecturer (FDAP & BA) at Canterbury College, and a freelance Creative Practitioner for Creative Partnerships. She currently works as a Creative Tutor and Inclusion Assistant at The University for The Creative Arts, Canterbury.

Cathy's work shown in exhibitions has explored many themes, including Transition, Fragmentation, Altered Egos and Layering.
She embraces a variety of media; drawing, painting, film, photography, installation, textiles, sculpture from found objects, paper, cardboard, and ceramics. Cathy has recently returned from a round-the-world trip, taking thousands of photographs and producing a series of sketchbooks. Her current work is an investigation into the scientific realm, exploring perception of time, landscape, transitory states, visual perception, cultural identity, fragmentation and layering. |
